Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, complete immigration procedures and collect your
luggage. Our representative, a professional certified tour guide and a driver, will greet you
with the white scarf (khadar) symbolizing the Bhutanese tradition of welcoming the guest.
Then we will check into the hotel and have lunch there. Perhaps you can ask the guide why
the white scarf is used to welcome any guest. after the lunch, we will visit the National
Museum and Paro Ringpung Dzong.

With an early breakfast, we will drive for 30 minutes to Paro, Sang Choekor, climbing an
elevation of around 500 meters by road until the hiking point. Our trek towards Bumdra will
start from there with an ascent into a thinly spread, blue pine forest along a shady, forested
ridge. After 3 hours, we will reach Choechotse Lhakhang and probably have our lunch there.
After that, which brings us to a clearing with prayer flags and views down into both the Paro
and Do Chhu Valleys. Slowly, you will be entering the thick pine forest, which will lead you
to our campsite.

• No Campsite returns to the hotel.
For the second day, we will rise early and visit Bumdra monastery and head towards sky
burial, which is about 40 minutes uphill walk from the monastery. After the return from the
sky burial, we will descend towards the Taktsang monastery. Along the way, we can visit
secluded temples and finally visit Taktsang monastery and descend towards Paro Valley and
drive back to the hotel.
